Armit

The Armit project is located in Saskatchewan and is a joint-venture between Saturn and Inowending Exploration & Development Corp.  Saturn owns an 87.5% interest in the project with Inowending owning 12.5%.

The Armit hosts the Leif coal discovery which was made by Saturn in 2009/2010 an encompases two potential coal seams of thicknesses ranging from 2m to 9.5m and beginning at depths of 100m to 110m.

The coal discovered on the Armit property ranges in calorific value from 8,000 btu/lb to 8,400 btu/lb (ad) with an average ash content of 22% (ar) and an average sulphur content of 1.6% (ar).  No washability tests have been completed on the Armit coals.

Current strike of the coal seam is approximately 4.5 km and is open to the northeast and southwest.

The exploration model for the Armit project is a graben / paleo-valley target which represents a relatively stable depositional paleo-environment which under the correct conditions can potentially host a massive coal target.  Saturn has completed over 3,000 line-km of gravity geophysical survey on the Armit project and intends to establish the graben / paleo-valley model over the course of ensuing exploration programs.
