The Little Swan project is located in eastern Saskatchewan. The project is owned 95% by Saturn and 5% by Vector Exploration Corp., a private oil & gas company based in Calgary, Alberta and founded and operated by the former executive team of Reliable Energy Ltd. (TSX.V-REL) which was sold to Crescent Point Energy Corp. (TSX-CPG) in 2012 for $99 million. Vector Exploration was formed for the exclusive purpose of exploring Saturn's oil & gas properties. Vector can earn an additional 5% interest, after which the project becomes a 90-10 joint-venture between Saturn and Vector.
The project is over 250,000 acres in size and covers large structural depressions discovered in 2012 via geophysical survey which host thick succession of the sedimentary layers of the northern Williston Basin.
