Saturn Completes 2008 Drill Program on Atlin Properties
Vancouver, September 26, 2008 -- Saturn Minerals Inc. -- SMI: TSX.V ("Saturn" or the "Company"), announces that the Company has completed diamond drill programs on the Beavis and McKee Creek listwanite/lode-gold target properties located, respectively, 2 km north and 15 km south of the town of Atlin in northwestern British Columbia.
In 1904, an inclined shaft was sunk on the Beavis property, and development work was done on 2 levels. There is no record of the results of this work, and the property was never drilled prior to 2008. Saturn completed an 8 hole 855 meter drill program on the Beavis in early September.
On the McKee Creek property, formerly an important placer gold producer, Saturn completed a 4 hole 694 meter drill program, designed to test gold occurrences located in hard-rock by Saturn in 2007.
A total of 173 core samples (from both programs) have been submitted for assay. Both drill programs were conducted under the supervision of Krzysztof Mastalerz, PhD, P.Geo, a Qualified Person under 43-101 standards, who has reviewed and approved the technical contents of this news release.
Diamond drilling services were provided by Kluane Drilling Ltd. of Whitehorse, Yukon.
