March 7, 2012, Vancouver -- Saturn Minerals Inc. (TSX.V: SMI) (FSE: SMK) ("Saturn" or the "Company") announces that it has mobilized and commenced its 2012 drilling program. Drilling activities are to be completed on the Company's Manitoba and Saskatchewan coal properties, including the Red Earth property in Saskatchewan. The Red Earth property is under an option agreement to Jameson Resources Ltd. of Perth, Australia (ASX: JAL) who owns a 10% interest in the Red Earth property and can earn up to a 60% interest by expending $870,000 in exploration over three years (see Saturn news release dated Nov. 10, 2011).

The Company also announces that the investor relations and corporate communications agreement with MI3 Communications Financieres Inc. has been terminated.
